Police Chaplain

0

Chaplaincy is a vital part of the Nauru Police Force support network both for Police on the job and off-duty.

The Police Chaplain attends hospital visits, to talk and pray with Police Officer in-patients and their families, as well as conduct scripture-based ethics sessions for new recruits prior to passing out. He is also called to attend official functions and parades.

“Whatever an officer’s faith offers her/him, is the same as my faith – put caring first, and love for the people, and we show that we do our job according to the law. To break the law is to go against the will of God, because God always finds harmony and peace within society,” Reverend Mwareow says.

“Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and He in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me”.

KJV Psalms 144: 1-2
